JCM Pharmacy, The Original Small Town Global mail order pharmacy.
Frequently Asked Questions: How do I order?
You can order by clicking on the order tab, on any order button you see on the website.   Enter your email address (this is probably most important), preferred mailing address, the name and quantity of the medication you want to order and your preferred payment method.  You can always simply email us your orders as well.   There is no need to use the web order form.  We'll invoice via email within one business day.  Your order will ship out within 24-48 hours of receipt of payment.

How do I make payment?
We accept all major cryptocurrencies.  Select groups of customers can also make payment via other means such as Paypal and Google Pay.

What are your store hours? / When are you open? / When do you ship out your orders?
We are open 365 days a year.  Our daily operating hours are 8am to 10pm India Standard time, our local time in Mumbai, India.  We are about 10 hours ahead of New York time, 4 hours ahead of London time, 1 hour ahead of Moscow time, and 5 hours behind Sydney time.  Although we often answer emails in 'real time,' you should expect that some responses will be delayed until the next business day if it's near the end of our business day, outside of our normal business hours, or if we are experiencing a particularly high volume of email.  Also, shipments are mailed out on every mailing day, although orders that are received and paid for before a public mailing holiday (or Friday evening for example), will not mail out until the very next mailing day, which at times can be up to 48-72 hours later.

Do you accept Bitcoins? / Does your pharmacy accept digital currency?
Yes, we do accept Bitcoins.  If you have funds in other digital currencies, please convert them to Bitcoins at any of the major exchanges before sending us payment.  We'll quote you the amount of BTC (Bitcoins) that you need to send us to pay for your order by using the current Coindesk exchange rate at the time of purchase.  We'll then provide you with one of our Bitcoin addresses with which you can send payment to us.  We'll provide you with payment instructions if you select Bitcoins as your payment method.

Do I need a prescription?
We do not require a prescription.  Simply place your order, or email us and let us know what you require and we'll process your order.   Healthcare and medication costs are on a perpetual rise.  There are more uninsured people than ever before.  We're here to save you time and money, if you know what medications you require, we certainly don't need a paid note from your health care provider.

Can I request a particular brand of medication?
You are welcome to make brand requests, and we will try to accommodate you, however as a matter of policy, we ship out generic brands of the same medication interchangeably.  Brand requests cannot be guaranteed.

Where do you ship from?
We ship the bulk of our orders from our logistics center in Mumbai, India.   It's a medical grade climate controlled 'clean' facility.  Ungloved/unsanitized human hands never touch your medication (which are sealed in blister packs or bottles anyway).   Everything is packed and shipped in sanitary conditions.  Medication arrives direct from the manufacturers and are immediately stored in ideal temperature conditions for each respective medication.

Will I be able to track my order?  How do I track my order?  Has my order left India yet?  The USPS website says 'Origin Post is Preparing Shipment,' what does that mean?  If it says 'MUMBAI AIR' on the India Post website, has my order been shipped? / etc.
Yes, you will be able to track your order.  1-2 business days after mail out, we will email you the tracking number(s), also known as certified mail, delivery confirmation or registered mail numbers in some countries.  In that email you will also receive links to the India Post website.  You'll be able to see there when your item(s) have left India.  When it shows as a particular date and 'MUMBAI AIR,' that means your order has left Mumbai International Airport on the date shown.  All international mail leaves the country on commercial airline flights and thus the last tracking point for India will be an international airport, and for our company, the closest airport is Mumbai's airport.  This can be seen in the example image of a tracking result below:

In this example, this particular order left Mumbai (India) on January 7, 2003 via air mail.
Another common question (from USA customers in this case) is that even though a particular shipment may have left India, the USPS website may still show a tracking status of 'Origin Post is Preparing Shipment,' as in the example below:

Here, even though the package has already arrived in New York, it still appears to be in India, which it is not.

The reason for this is that the particular shipment/order is likely already in the destination country (USA in this case), but has not yet cleared customs and has not yet been scanned into the USPS system.  Please be patient as this does not mean the shipment is still in India.  It has left India and is simply awaiting customs clearance.  The shipment will likely become trackable again in a few days when it re-enters the USPS mail system and will soon be delivered, as in the example tracking result shown below:

Here we can see that the order has been delivered, after a short customs delay, which is completely normal.

Will I need to sign for my order? / Do I need to sign for these packages? / The usps.com (post office) website says 'notice left' but I do not have a notice in my mailbox? / What if the package is returned because I gave you the wrong address or because no one at my address accepted the package?
All orders are shipped via first class registered air mail so yes, a signature is required to accept the package(s).  Anyone at the mailing address can sign for the package, it doesn't have to be specifically the person the package was addressed to.  It can be a friend, neighbor, roommate, spouse, child, etc.  We must ship out by registered air mail by the way, because if we do not, both the customer (you) and the sender (us) will not be able to track and confirm delivery of orders.

Yes, the USPS sometimes will not leave a 'notice left' slip or note even when it indicates this on the USPS.com website.  This can be because of many reasons.  Sometimes the notices are misplaced, scattered by the wind, and sometimes the mail carrier simply doesn't really write a note.  The remedy or solution for this type of situation is that we recommend that all customers make an effort to track their orders online at the USPS.com website so that they know when a delivery attempt has been made and so that they can then arrange redelivery (online or with their mailman/mail carrier).  Also, if possible, leave a permanent note (even better if you can get this note laminated) on your home, building, or office mailbox with a message to your mailman along these lines... "Dear USPS, if a package to be delivered requires my signature, PLEASE leave me a delivery notice for me to sign so that you can redeliver the package.  Otherwise just leave it in my mail box.  Thank you!"

ImportantPlease note that we cannot take responsibility if your order is returned to us because you do not accept the package(s) (for instance you go on vacation and do not place a hold on your mail or there are multiple delivery attempts but you do not sign for your order for whatever reason).   In these cases we will wait until the package(s) are returned to us and will reship, BUT we will need you to pay for the postage costs for the reshipment.  If the packages are lost on the return leg, the customer agrees that the we are not to be held responsible for such losses.  To avoid such situations, the customer should actively track their orders online at the links provided in the follow up email(s) we send after your order has been shipped.

What do I do if my package is confiscated by customs?  US Customs sent me a seizure letter, what do I do now?  Should I respond to this customs letter?
You do not need to do anything.  There is no need to respond to it.  No legal action will be taken against you, nor have we ever heard of anyone being prosecuted for importing personal use prescription medication.  Our general policy is to continue reshipping any lost or confiscated packages.  The reason for this is that the volume of mail arriving everyday into the USA is overwhelming and it is simply not possible for US Customs to inspect even a small percentage of it.  The odds are heavily in favor of the customer.   This guaranteed reship policy applies to all other countries we ship to as well.

Why are your prices so low?
Our prices are some of the lowest you'll find out there.  Don't take our word for it, Google around and you'll see for yourself.  The reason is simple:  We accept a much lower profit margin than most online and real world pharmacies out there.  While other businesses try to price gouge with profit margins of more than 100% to sometimes even 200%+ percent (yes, pharmaceutical margins ARE that high), we follow standard retail practice of accepting modest 9 to 15% margins.   We can afford to do so because our business doesn't have any debt.  Our assets: buildings, property, and even delivery vans are completely paid for.  We are completely internally financed.  Thus, there isn't much in terms of overhead costs that need to be passed on to the customer.  You're welcome.  :-)

Can I use a USA mail forwarder if I don't have a USA (or other country you ship to) mailing address?
Of course.  And many of our customers do.  First, be sure to check that your country isn't in the list of countries we ship to.  If that's the case and you still want to order from us, we recommend that you get a USA mail forwarder account with one of dozens of companies that offer these services.  You can find them through Google (search for "USA address mail forwarding."  Some popular services that several thousand of our customers use are: Bongo International, Earth Class Mail, Ship It To, USA Box, USA 2 Me, USA Mail 1, US Global Mail, and Via Address.  If you open an account with any of these services, they will provide you with a USA based mailing address and will accept and then forward packages to you in your own country for a small to moderate fee.

Is it okay if my billing address and mailing address are different?  Can I have my order shipped to someone else as a gift?
Yes, that is okay.  You can put in your billing address as both the billing and mailing address when you make payment... and THEN email us separately to let us know what the mailing address you want us to ship to is.  Otherwise we'll just ship to the address you specify on the order form.  The address you specify on the order form takes priority over what is stated in your payment unless you email us and let us know.  We can even ship to a friend or family member as a gift.  We do not provide gift wrapping services.  There is no mention of price of product on any of our shipment packages other than a small approximate value customs declaration slip.

Do you ship to PO Boxes, post office boxes, MBE Mailboxes Etc., UPS Store addresses, APO/FPO addresses, etc?
Yes, we do ship to all PO Boxes, post office boxes, APO/FPO addresses, etc.  We have no restrictions whatsoever regarding shipping addresses as long as they are correct/accurate addresses.

Does your pharmacy accept USPS money orders / Which USPS money order do I need to purchase, the domestic or international one?  / Does making payment by money order slow down my order?
Please note that as of March 2015, we no longer accept mailed in checks or money orders.  You'll need to select a different payment method to make payment on your order.

Are you Indian?  Are you a pharmacist?
While this is always a somewhat amusing question, the answer is: we are a family company made up of more than 40 people of various nationalities: American, British, Indian, Malaysian, and Singaporean.  You can expect customer service in clear native speaking English, although you are welcome to ask questions in any language.  All people who handle sales and shipping are pharmacists.  The only people who handle your order who are not pharmacists are the delivery van drivers who take these orders to the post office.   If you have any questions regarding drug interactions or side effects, you are more than welcome to ask.   We keep up to date with our profession and trade through continual education.

I see you use a Yandex email address, are you Russian, are you in the Ukraine, etc.?
This question or something similar comes up surprisingly often.  Not that it should matter, but no, we are not Russian, or anything to do with the former Soviet Union.  We are for the most part an Indian organization and are based in Mumbai, India.  We use many different email addresses, and some of them are from Yandex (which is just a free Russia based email service like Yahoo or Hotmail).  We also use GMX and Gmail but it has always been our business philosophy to keep as many redundant emails and websites in several different and unrelated countries.

I only received part of my order?
Large orders and even some medium sized orders are often packed in different packages.   Rest assured that you will indeed receive your entire order.   Note also that we often (but not always) ship 'bonus' or 'extra' tablets of medication when stock allows so you'll often find that the quantity of items received will exceed the quantity that you ordered.   Packages may often arrive several days and perhaps weeks apart.

Your website is down.  Can I order via email?/Skype/etc.?
From time to time, our website may be inaccessible.  We're still here, don't worry.  We've been in business for more than fifty years, have more than 200 partners and employees (many of whom are family members) and we aren't going anywhere.  If you want to place an order, just email it to us.  Let us know what you want to order, what quantity, and what payment method you want to use.  This is all we need to know:

1. your order (200 x Tadalafil 20 mg)
2. your payment method (Bitcoins, Paypal, Google Pay, etc.)
3. your mailing address (John Smith, 100 Main Street, City/Town, State/Province, Postal Code, Country)

Also, if our emails ever bounce back, just contact us at ANY of our email adddresses and we'll get back to you.  It's important that you save our email addresses just in case you lose touch with any of our websites.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
For most countries, the average time from mail out to package arrival is 15-20 mailing days.  Most of that time frame is allocated for outbound (origin country) and inbound (your country) customs services/departments to process your package.  Be sure to make note of your tracking or delivery confirmation number so that you can track your package online (if your local post office website supports this function).  Please note that we cover up to two losses before shipments become at the customer's own risk for arrival.

Do you send out junk email? Do you spam advertise?
JCM Pharmacy does not send out any junk or spam advertisements.  If you receive emails that purport to be sent from us, please rest assured that they are NOT from us and forward them to us so that we can contact and possibly stop those responsible.  If you receive junk or spam advertisements that seem to be related to the sale of pharmacy products, it is likely that you were put on a mass mailing list from some other source unrelated to our company.  We do not advertise at all, and rely on word of mouth recommendations and repeat business from our own customers.  One solution or workaround is to use a 'throwaway' or 'less important' free email address from Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo, etc. to be used with the purchase of pharmacy goods.  That way you do not compromise the privacy of your main email addresses.

Is this legal?  What about customs?
Yes.  Most countries follow the US FDA's policy which allows US consumers to import up to a 90-day supply of prescription drugs for personal use.  Although this varies by country, most postal/customs services don't regard orders of less than 500-1,000 tablets of medication as significant.  It is more commonly standard policy to simply allow small quantities (30 to 200 tablets) of non-narcotic medication through the system and delivered to their destinations rather than have it seized or returned.

Do you sell wholesale?
Our prices are already considered low enough to be wholesale prices.   Feel free to browse around the Internet and compare our prices to other online and real world pharmacies.  In some special circumstances we are willing to negotiate quantity discounts.   As a general rule though we don't recommend that customers order large quantities of medications as generally speaking: the larger the order (especially when one gets into the 500-1,000+ tablet range), the more likely you'll have customs issues at the package destination.

How should I store my medication if I plan to keep it long term for later use?  What is the best method for long term storage of medication?  Please advise how to store medication for survival / prepper / bunker use. / etc.
This varies by medication, but it does appear that most of the questions about this topic seem to be related to tablet or pill medication, often of the analgesic or antibiotic nature.  In general it is important to keep most medication at or near room temperature, dry, and out of direct sunlight.  Airtight "tupperware" (food storage) type containers are ideal for this purpose.  If available, you should also add a dessicant pack (moisture absorbing pack, of the type often found in snack food packaging) to your storage container.  Medication is often still effective well after the expiration date if you use these storage methods, although you should probably plan to 'rotate' and use your medication storage stocks every 10-15 years after the expiration date.

How do I leave feedback? / Can I make a few suggestions? / etc.
All customers are more than welcome to view and add to our customer feedback and suggestion blog.  We of course always appreciate feedback (both positive and suggestions for improvement), but what we really appreciate is good word of mouth advertising when satisfied customers recommend us to their family, friends, and coworkers, perhaps at the same time briefly explaining our 'discreet/private' ordering and billing system.

Where is the rxcreams.com / jcmpharmacy.com / jcmrx.com / etc. website?  I can't seem to locate your website.  Are you still in business?  We heard you were shut down by Big Pharma, are you still there?
Over the years, some of our websites have been attacked and shut down without warning or due process by Big Pharma lobbying groups.  Either they try to get our domain names banned, or they pressure our webhosts to delete our content.  We're still here and business is as good as ever.  We've been in business for decades, we're certainly not going out of business just because one of our websites gets deleted.  We recommend that customers save our product list as well as any or all of our email addresses.  Can't find us?  Just email us.  Orders can always be placed via email.

Who or what is "Big Pharma?"

Big Pharma is the nickname given to the world’s vast and influential pharmaceutical industry and its trade and lobbying group, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America or PhRMA.  The industry wields enormous influence over the prescription drug and medical device markets around the globe. In fact, in the United States, the industry contributes heavily to the annual budget of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is charged with regulating drugs and devices made by those same companies.  Big Pharma demonstrates its power, political might and social influence over the nation’s governments and agencies, its health care systems, its doctors and hospitals, as well as the psyche of the average consumer worldwide.  With the help of staggering profits and an army of paid lobbyists, the industry has gained powerful leverage in the world market for medication.

Please Google "Edelman pharmacy scare tactics."  You'll find articles of an example of Big Pharma's strategy for overseas pharmacy competition.  In short, their strategy is to use public relations and advertising firms to 'sling mud' or to play upon the fears of the American public... and in cases where such fears didn't exist before, to attempt to generate new fears.  This is the origin of public "beliefs and rumors" that foreign made medication are made of substandard and/or dangerous ingredients.  Completely contrary to this that proves this fear mongering is false is the FACT that most major US hospitals are supplied the MAJORITY of their medicines by Indian pharmaceutical companies, the same companies that supply online overseas pharmacies.

The world’s 11 largest drug companies made a net profit of $711.4 billion from 2003 to 2012 and the global market for pharmaceuticals is expected to top $1 trillion in sales by 2014.

In short, tens of thousands of small online pharmacies like ours are often targeted because we sell equivalent generics for very small profit margins and thus are considered a threat to these pharmaceutical giants.
